Immersive Weapons adds like 500 or so new weapons to random leveled lists. Can be tough to get to work, as it conflicts with a lot of mods and needs compatibility patches. Adds 27(I think) new locations to Cyrodiil. Everyone and their moms have this mod, but I figured I'd mention it just in case. Or you might hear rats skittering, bats flying, chains rattling in a dungeon. So, for example, you may hear a man shouting at a thief in a city, or a dog barking, or children playing.

I really enjoy this one and install it every playthrough. Clocks of Cyrodiil is a really cool mod that adds lore friendly(somehwat) clocks outside in cities and inside of inns. Better Nightsky makes the 2 moons in the sky not have that ugly black border, and retextures them as well. Animated Window Lights and Smoke (AWLS) makes windows glow at night, and makes smoke come out of chimneys. (Can be tough to install if you dont know what youre doing.) Could be a minor FPS drop if your pc is on the lower end. Now you can actually look through windows and see people walking about etc. Immersive Interiors basically "opens" up the windows in the interiors. Improved Signs is a pretty minor retexture, but you really start to notice it if you're the roleplaying type (reading signs instead of the map etc. HTH!Įssential graphics mods or just essential mods in general? I'm pretty sure that all of these can be found on the Nexus. Hopefully you or someone else might find a few of these handy.
Does what it says, helms can be hidden all the time or all the time except when in combat.
A simple xp alternative that doesn't seem overpowered to me. (has minor issue w/ Oblivion XP, see readme.) Simple way to leave yourself reminders. No more guessing whether or not you've already harvested something. As you can guess, it makes swimming underwater a lot easier.
Also pls be forewarned that I'm one of these strange people to whom pretty graphics don't seem to matter much, so a lot of what I like might fall into the "quirky" cataagory. Unlike yourself, I'm kind of new to modding TES4.
